I can’t believe how quickly the fall flew by this year! A quick tip if you are planning a fall wedding in the Adirondacks... the fall foliage peaks much more quickly in the Adirondacks than other parts of the state. So if you want those beautiful fall leaves the last week in September through the first two weeks of October are best! Worth waiting for sunset I think : )

A mix of film and digital photographs from Catherine and Rob's vow renewal at the Mirror Lake Inn and then outside of Lake Placid this December. Winter is one of my favorite times of the year for photographs because there really isn't anything more magical than snowy photos. I was so glad we had some for their photos. It wasn't without sacrifice, though, because it was bitterly cold that day, but you would never know it from the warmth and love in their photographs.

So you had photographs taken on your wedding day and then never had beautiful photos taken again... doesn't that sound sad! Maybe Catherine and Rob's heartfelt vow renewal in Lake Placid will inspire you to have your photographs taken again. You don't need a special occasion. Just taking the time and space out of your busy life to tell the person you love the most that you cherish them is more than enough of a reason. Let's capture it together and hope that we all have a love as sweet and Catherine and Rob's. Throwback to this beautiful winter wedding day. This was one of the very last portraits of the day before we made our way inside for the reception. I was walking behind Renee and made her stop for just one more because I knew it would be amazing.
