Junior League of Westchester on the Sound

Each year, the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound (JLWOS) awards a local student with a scholarship created in memory of the late Margaret Manley. The Margaret Manley Community Service Scholarship is intended to promote voluntary leadership participation in community affairs and to demonstrate the effectiveness of trained volunteers. One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 is available to be awarded. High school seniors residing in, and attending high school in, Port... Chester, Rye, Rye Brook, Rye Neck, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, or New Rochelle, who graduated in the winter of 2020 or will graduate in the spring of 2021, and who will enroll in a full-time course of study during the 2021-2022 school year at an accredited two- or four-year college or university are eligible. This is a non-need-based scholarship. Grade point is not a determining factor.
