Oh Mommas. . I see you. The countless boo-boo kisses. Brushing crumbs off of every piece of furniture in the house. An exhausted game of hide and seek just to get that dirty little babe in the tub. Mac + Cheese for the fourth night in a row. How many times have you tripped on that choo-choo today? Gosh dang, you’re one tired momma. . But at the end of the day you’d do it all 1000 times over again. You are the WARRIOR. Overflowing with love and gratitude for those little hum...an bodies that you created. You deserve to be celebrated each and every day! . Let’s slow down, Momma. I want you to see how beautiful this phase of life is. You and I both know it can change in the blink of an eye. And I know it’s easier to just see the crazy, chaotic and all too loud. But this is the phase where that little human body needs you more than ANYTHING in this big world. Even when they think they are big and able, they come to you when they need that last button done up and to get that last snuggle or kiss before their eyes shut at the end of a long day. You’re their reason, and they are yours. . Now is your chance to capture these moments. Make time stand still! . I’m hosting styled Mother’s Day Photo Sessions on Sunday, April 18th at Danby Gathery and I have sessions left available! There is no real theme to these photos, other than a simply beautiful setting to capture the bond between a mother and her child(ren). Think bright, neutral, calm, and comforting. A blank canvas and you’re the art! . Mommas + their grown up babes are more than welcome! . This would also make a beautiful gift for grandmothers to have a few photos with their grandchildren! Or a sweet generational photo. . Do you know an expecting momma that will be carrying her little love through her first Mother’s Day? This would be perfect to capture mommas bond with her sweet nurturing belly . . DM or email me to grab one of these sessions! You will NEVER regret having a few too many photos of you and your precious babes! @ Ithaca, New York See more

But likeeee have you heard? . . . One of my FAVORITE small businesses is asking for our help! You all know my love for @easylivinghats, right?¿ Well, Olivia and her team have launched a crowd-funder campaign to raise money so that they can take their business to the next level. They are working to open a production + distribution space where they can produce an abundance of their AMAZING hats + offer a local pickup location! ... . Donating feels GOOD. Supporting a woman owned small + LOCAL business feels incredible! Not only do you have the chance to help this kick-booty biz grow a bit but you also have the chance to snag one of the awesome incentives that @easylivinghats is offering her donors. One of the rewards is a photo session! For a $250 contribution you will get FREE hats for the WHOLE family (with styling from @easylivinghats) + a family photo shoot at the lovely Stewart Park with muah ! We’re only offering 10 sessions, so grab yours before they are gone! 5 sessions will be held on Saturday May 8th, and the other 5 sessions will be held on Sunday, October 10th. . It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared a session with you all! This ones a bit of a throwback from December. I spent a VERY cold + windy afternoon with Zoe and Zach on top of the world in downtown Ithaca. We popped champagne, we danced, we giggled + we also ran inside to hide from the cold a few times! . . . I’m here for all the urban parking garage sessions, how bout you?!

Hey It’s your girl! . . . It’s been a minute so thought I would hop on and show you my face! Last weekend I met up with @moebphotography to snap some branding photos of each other! Don’t let the warm edit fool you... we FROZE our booties off but had a ton of fun! Moe and Kevin are incredible and I’m thrilled to see what kinds of adventures we’ll have together this year! ... . . . (Prepare for a bit of a ramble) . . . Ive been doing a lot of reflecting lately and I really can’t get over how amazing it feels to be a part of the local photography community. I’ve established so many amazing relationships with other photographers this year. Some who are just starting their journey, Some who have been shooting for years and some like me who have dabbled for a few years but are really holding the reigns of their career now more than ever! I’ll tell you what... this community hasn’t always felt warm and fuzzy. It’s always boggled my mind why people are so intimidated by new talent. I mean, sure, competition is a real thing... but why compete with someone that’s reaching for a different star than you? Why not fuel their passion and guide them in a crazy exciting direction! Be the mentor that you always wished that you had! We all start in the same place. A big dream and a whole lot of little steps. Community is an incredible thing. Idk y’all. There are photographers that have been in the field for fifteen years or more and I whole heartedly admire their work BUT I’ve come across so many accounts of photographers who just started shooting last year and all I can say is DANG. I’m not really sure where I was trying to go with this other than wowza there is much magic in this field. I love working side by side so many amazingly talented people! . . . | RANT OVER | . | ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND | . . . : @moebphotography Edit : @kaitmartinphotog
