For our final senior spotlight feature, we would like to congratulate Michael Coppola! Mike is the former VPM of KK and a member of the percussion section. He is graduating with a major in Adolescent Education with a focus in History, and a minor in Music. After graduation, Mike plans on pursuing a dual certification to teach music. His favorite memory as a brother was his performance with the Marist Band during the 2019 Spring Concert, under Art Himmelberger for the last ti...me, and while acknowledging his years of service by presenting Art with the Distinguished Service to Music Medal. Words of advice Mike has for his brothers are, no matter what was happening around us or to us, we always had each other. These are just some of the things that I will carry with me through life because of the things you are already doing. My true advice to you is that you are each other’s legacy. Continue to share your light with one another and with the world and your legacy will follow you throughout your lifetime. Do the great things for the right reasons and the recognition will come in time. AEA. Thank you for everything, Mike! Good luck in the future! We will miss you! #maristgrad See more
