Howard Karagheusian Commemorative Corporation

This Monday, on December 7, 2020, the study room program of the Howard Karagheusian Center in Lebanon opened its doors for the 14th year. Here students learn their daily lessons with teachers' professional help. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the school follows the ministry's healthcare steps, providing maximum rest and safety to students.

Displacement is a traumatic experience that children and families face during war. Continuing their work with the displaced families, the local team of the Howard Karagheusian Medical Benevolent Non-GovernmentalOrganization Armenia - a social worker and a psychologist from Yerevan, travel to the villages, determined to do everything they can to ensure that these experiences do not harm the healthy development of children from displaced families.

We stand with our Nation After the devastating news of the war, and families being displaced from Artsakh to different regions in Armenia, the Howard Karagheusian Foundation's Armenian centers formed a group of specialists and volunteers that provides social, psychological, and humanitarian assistance to the displaced families. The volunteers work with the children, assessing their psychological well-being through expressed thoughts and feelings.

#Throwback Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the exhibition's opening about Armenia, the motherland of our founders, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York From September 22, 2018, to January 13, 2019, visitors of the MET museums had a chance to explore Armenia's cultural heritage and learn about an important period from its history. Yesterday, the Howard Karagheusian Commemorative Corporation - Lebanon Country Director Mr. Serop Ohanian joined a special global forum, Beirut After the Blast organized by the AGBU Young Professionals.
