Karen's Kids

At the 2018 fundraising event held at Eagle Crest on September 29, 2018, Arongen staff and teachers prepared placards and displays describing how Karen's Kids helps children in need at the school. We would like to thank all of you who donate and support Karen's Kids and our efforts to help children in Karen's memory.

Seventh Annual Charity event at Eagle Crest Golf Course and Country Club.

The Karen's Kids 2018 Fundraiser event is set for Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Eagle Crest Golf Course Banquet Room. Cost is $50 per person which includes appetizers and food stations. A cash bar will also be available. There will also be several opportunities to win many great prizes at the event. Come join us!! There will not be a Karen's Kids golf tournament this year. Instead, we are planning to hold a fundraiser on Saturday September 29th. More details will be available very soon, but there will be food, auctions, raffles and prizes. And of course, it will give us an opportunity to be together, catch up with each other and support our shared mission of helping children at Arongen in Karen's memory. We hope that you will be able to join us.

Karen's Kids is happy to announce that Sarah Jaffri received the 2018 Karen Field Kindness Award! She was recognized at the Arongen Awards assembly on June 8. Sarah is a fifth grader and she is known for her positive attitude, hard work and responsibility. She encourages her classmates and is always willing to help out. Sarah sees the value in everyone and her willingness to work with anyone demonstrates her compassion and concern for others. Congratulations Sarah!!
