Check out this very cool project by Vivienne Aerts that I'm happy to be participating in: "For International Women's Day, I will be celebrating the official start of my new album project. Basically, it will be a soundscape of my original songs with over 100 female musicians that I've met these last few years. And, with every album purchased comes a bar of Original Beans Femmes de Virunga chocolate supporting female cocoa farmers in Congo. Th...is way, it will be an album of "Women Supporting Women". For starters, I wanted to put something together that features women in music and celebrate International Women's Day. So, I've asked all my female music friends to send me a video of themselves playing or singing one note, any note, any length. Then I used all these little clips of 40 women to create this piece that will be presented for #ChooseToChallenge and share your sound on International Women's Day.
