Do you know what this is? It's an old doorbell and it was at a house I visited in Cortland today...it actually works and is a neat piece of history!

I visited a home yesterday in King Ferry and took this picture of the dining room floor. Have you ever invested time into sanding, varnishing, and refinishing your floors or have you had that done professionally? As you can see from this picture, in some situations it can make a big difference. If not done on a regular basis, or at least as needed, major wear and tear on your floors can be very evident.

There are certain memories that remain with you for a lifetime. This is a quote my Dad had in our basement that I would look at when I was running on our treadmill. It is a quote I will never forget. Have a blessed weekend!

There is so much history in the Town of Caroline. Did you know that this year the Town of Caroline started its own history club Facebook page and already has 812 members! There's a lot going on in this small town and I'm thankful to call it home.
