It’s the end of the gardening season and everything is flowering before going to seed. I find my Shiso plant especially beautiful, fragrant... and delicious wrapping a piece of sashimi! I hate to see the season end.

Neutral colors invite subtle variations of light to create a peaceful mood. Simply beautiful.

With gratitude to Peter Lyden , who recently posted about the beauty at Wethersfield, I couldn’t resist going to see for myself. It is everything he described and more! I left totally inspired. What a treasure in the Hudson Valley!

This artwork is an unexpected collaboration between my daughter and a mouse. Her painting was unfinished and abandoned for years, so the mouse took over. I kind of like the results. But... this brings up an important point: is your artwork protected against damage? Do you need art storage in your home? Some works are too valuable to be at risk.
