Hi! I'm Katie, the owner of Katie Fargo Skin Care. After graduating college in 2006 with a degree in Business Management I went on to study Esthetics at the Continental School of Beauty in Rochester, NY in hopes of some day opening my own spa. Since graduating I have gone on to work at several spas including two Medical Spas in Horseheads, NY. During this time, I was fortunate enough to work under talented Facial Plastic Surgeons and Skin Care Specialists where I developed an... expertise in skin treatments for rosacea, hyperpigmentation, hormonal skin issues, and acne. I am known for my luxurious, healing facial treatments and take pride in providing each of my clients with a unique experience. I tailor facials to each and every client's specific needs based on a detailed skin analysis and individual lifestyles. My husband and I moved to Hamilton in 2012. It was then that I decided to open Katie Fargo Skin Care and I have loved watching it grow into a business servicing Colgate University students and the rest of the This Is Hamilton, NY community. We have two beautiful daughters, Harper and Emerson, and we all absolutely love living in Hamilton. This is a great silicone make-up sponge duo from Cala Beauty. Being non-absorbent as opposed to a traditional makeup sponge, you'll use less product more efficiently with these reusable pads. To clean, just wash with soap and warm water. These are available in the shop along with skin care, spring clothing, jewelry, bags and more

Did you know? Sun protection is important every day of the week, all year long. "Many people feel they only need to protect themselves on sunny days or when visiting the beach," says Dr. Debbie Palmer in Good Housekeeping. "But the truth is that we need to protect our skin even when we're driving a car, flying in an airplane, or running errands. It's the daily UV exposure that contributes to the visible signs of aging." For best results, choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen (br...oad-spectrum ensures you're being protected from both UVA and UVB rays) with an SPF of 30 or greater and reapply every two hours. And remember: sun protection doesn't stop at sunscreen! Other important tools include SPF makeup, sunglasses, and broad-brimmed hats.
