Yesterday, I gave my first chair massage in over a year. I didn’t realize how long it had been until I set my chair up. . Chair massage has been a huge part of my business since day one. It had allowed me to get myself out there, working on many different clients in many different types of settings. In a little over 2 years, I had worked hundreds of hours on hundreds of different people. . It’s starting to really hit me how much my work has changed because of COVID. Mos...t people are uncomfortable being closer than 6 feet (understandably!), let alone comfortable having someone touch them. This fact alone has taken such a toll on my work. . All I can do now is remember the people I’ve had the honor to work with over the years & pray that I’ll be able to facilitate healing in that way again some day.
