I have some very heartbreaking news to share with you all. Our store front is closing Due to the widespread pandemic and it not getting any better I am forced to close the doors. The close date has yet to be determined but I will be having a store closing sale in place of our holiday online sale. This sale will be IN-STORE only and over a few day span. I am currently working on getting the shop full stocked for this event Anyone who had placed an order up until today, yo...ur orders will be fulfilled. I will continue to accept custom orders BUT in a future date that I still have to decided. It will be for custom orders only at a later date, and they will be limited as I have taken a position with the USPS. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity that I have been given and it came at the perfect time This has been a very very hard decision as I have fought to keep the store open over the pandemic but without traveling to craft shows business has been cut dramatically. Okay, ready for one of my longish posts?? Here it goes There is a big-ish change coming Kayla Marie Creations. ... 2020 has been crazy year for everyone and especially small businesses! I have pondered loooong and hard over this Nevertheless there are times in our life when change is exactly what needs to happen even when this is a change that was never foreseen to happen. As Thursday, October 21st we will no longer have shop hours. We are moving our hours to by appointment only. All appointments for pick ups or shopping need to be scheduled, with a 24-hour notice. I understand this may not be convenient for everyone but due to personal changes this is the best solution that we can come up with right now. However, each week I will still be working in the shop but it will not be set days. I will post when I'm in the shop and available for walk-in hours. Regarding the fastly approaching holidays: 1-I will be accepting a certain amount of custom holiday orders. The cut off is November 16th, this maybe moved up depending on orders that come in. I am limiting custom orders to signs and clothing only.. no cups, koozies etc.. All orders need to be paid in full by November 25th. No exceptions, no late orders will be accepted. 2-In light of these changes I will not be replenishing stock on a regular basis and holiday themed items will be select and once they are gone they will not be replenished. 3-Be sure to join the Kayla Marie Creations VIP group page to be notified first of the store-wide online holiday sale. We lost an important man this morning in our family. I have always confided in him and was always eagar to talk to him about all the new endeavors, especially when I first told him I was quitting my full-time job to pursue this business 4 years ago! He looked at me and told me I was crazy and the first craft show I attended was at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. And boy was he amazed at what I could do!!! The hunt my grandfather did and the numerous calls we made to find th...e perfect little trailer for the business. I remember walking into his office and giving him a copy of the Mohawk Valley Living write up they did on us. And the smile he had ear to ear, and the proudness he had in his voice. I signed that copy for him and we laughed. Little moments mean the world.
