Two stories on Oneida County, NY and how the struggle for justice and equality for the African American community there continues. I'm interviewed (in the second half). The pastor of Utica's Oldest Black church, Rev. Sharon Baugh tells the story of Hope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church which is celebrating its 172 anniversary. You will also see historian Judith Wellman and Jan Demicis. @Deirdre Sinnott's novel THE THIRD MRS. GALWAY, about the abolitionist movement in Utica NY in 1835, will be published by Kaylie Jones Books in June 2021.
