An important rule in Real Estate is to remember that every client is different, and sees this city through their own personalized lens based on their life experience and priorities. This is my favorite painting I own because @julien.rey.artist is able to capture the Flatiron Building through his own lens, and it reminds me of that perspective every day before work. It also helps that it’s how I see the city as I am out the door at sunrise!

2019 was an amazing year that took me to places in my life I never imagined possible, and beat me humble in the process. The first thing I guarantee for 2020 is I’ll appreciate where I’ve landed, work harder than I ever have before, and never take it for granted. Despite the constant rhetoric surrounding the yield curve inversion, and the impending recession - Goldman Sachs downgraded the risk of a recession from 1-in-3 to a 1-in-5 chance with an expectation of 2.25% to 2.5% growth in 2020 as referenced by Business Insider (link in comments). Before all of this the main thing I used to do to clear my head was go walking throughout the city. I decided it would be okay to do it again to deal with the stress of all of this so long as I was alone and kept my distance. What I saw was a bit alarming as the streets of this city that never sleeps was empty in the middle of the day. It’s encouraging to see people taking this so seriously, but a shock to witness.
