WE ALWAYS CARE FOR OUR COMMUNITY!!! Our association has donated one hundred thousand rupees to Karunya Bhavan. Shalom Karunya Bhavan is a nonprofit charitable organization situated at Nellimmood in Mallappally Taluk, Pathanamthitta District, Since 1997. They serve the basic amenities to those who are in need. They are devoted for giving proper medical treatments, food, and clothes to mentally challenged people. They adopt the mentally challenged people from the streets and pr...ovide accommodation and treatment. Currently, they have 200 plus people under their roof. Mr. Mathew Kokura (one of the founding fathers of our association and former president) handed over the money to them in the presence of Advt. Zachariah Karuveli and the local political leaders there. We took $800 from our association funds and rest of the money we received from following members. 1. Philip Madathil 2. Lathika Nair 3. Raju Abraham 4. Samuel Mathai 5. Thomas Oommen 6. Thomas Kolady Thanks to all the association members and Mr. Mathew Kokura for your kind support. After seeing their situation Mathew Kokura gave another 20,000 Rs to them from his pocket. Please see the news, pictures, and video. Anu Ullas my love, words are not enough to express how much of a strength you were to me during not only this project, but the entire term for all the help you have extended. When you first brought the idea, we didnt know how we would execute this in the most transparent way possible. However your hard work and dedication proved how well you were able to execute this even during the pandemic. Im so proud of the team effort and leadership qualities you extended to make this project a grand success. Only wishing you the best and hope you are able to coordinate such noble projects in the near future!!
