Oh, what a happy Monday!!! We are back and open for full operations again! Our team is so pleased to be able to serve our patients again. If one thing came out of this long shut down, it is that I have NO interest in retiring!!! I just love what I do way too much!!! Thank you to all of our loyal patients who have been waiting for this day. There have been many changes made around the office to insure the safety of both my team and my patients. Good morning and Happy Monday! We still have not gotten an official date that dental offices in New York can open. There is plenty of mis-information out there and this is where all of my out of the office work with the New York State Dental Association, 7th District Dental Society and the ADA have come in. Here's the truth. Dentistry is not in any of the Phases that you hear on the news. Dentistry is an Essential Medical service which was asked to suspend elective servi...ces by the New York State Department of Health. We are working hard with the NYS Dept of Health to show them that dental offices are (and always have been) a safe environment. I have taken further steps to insure the health and safety of my team and my patients and have gone way beyond the CDC recommendations. Good morning. The office will be open tomorrow morning for emergency patients. I am still under mandate to suspend elective procedures. One of the modes of transmission of the virus is through the throat tissues so please be diligent with your oral hygiene as well as using an antiseptic mouth rinse (e.g. Listerine). There are some things flying around the internet saying to gargle with bleach. Do NOT do this!!!! I can not emphasize that enough!!! You will cause damage to your mouth and throat tissues!!! Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds regularly. Follow the CDC recommendations. Be safe. Dr. Mike

Good Morning. Another day of this unprecedented new world! The office will be closed today. I will be in the office treating true emergencies for limited hours tomorrow. If you are a patient of record and have an emergency please call the office and you will be instructed as to how to get to me.

Good morning. As of last night I have received word that any elective dental procedures should be rescheduled and only true dental emergencies be treated for the next three weeks. This sudden closure of all dental offices in New York State has us making multiple phone calls. If you have an appointment for a hygiene visit with Patty or Gwen in the next few weeks or an appointment with me please be patient with us as we are working hard to do our part to minimize the transmission of the COVID 19 virus. We are happy to have the office looking festive for the Christmas season. I am very appreciative of my team for taking their personal time to make the office look amazing!

We had another amazing year for our Smiles for Life campaign. A lot of people were able to get their teeth whitened and that means a lot of kids are being helped out! We are happy to be able to provide this check to Chris Nucerino of the Auburn YMCA. I am very thankful to my awesome team and all of the efforts that they put in to Smiles For Life. They are the best!!!

We are now doing 4 handed and 4 pawed dentistry!!! Mia helped Meg and I restore Dad's tooth!!!

Stoked to be able to immerse myself in a higher level of learning at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. Its mastery level continuing education courses like this that make me charged up and passionate about providing the best for my patients.
