Kechie's Project 01.11.2020

Dear Friends, My heart is breaking. There is so much going on in our lives right now. Globally, the world has been challenged by COVID-19 pandemic. Here in the U.S., we are facing an uncertain future while the presidential election looms overhead. Right now, youth in Nigeria are under attack by their own government. Per military orders, unarmed youth were killed mercilessly while peacefully protesting for basic human rights. These young people are not thugs; they are brillian...tly educated, hardworking youth who have managed to make a decent living despite years of mass government corruption and exploitation. The current Nigerian administration has failed this generation! The time for change is now! Stand in solidarity with me and the Nigerian youth by posting #endsarsnow! #endswatnow Our voices matter! Nkechi Ogbodo. President/Founder Kechie's Project Inc

She has helped hairstylists, salon owners, and entrepreneurial people all over the world from her total willingness to share all that she knows with them. All while serving everyone with total authenticity by giving with an open heart with helping starving children, clothing them, and paying for their schooling in Kenya Africa where she is originally from. When I Started the hair extension business, I had 2 options because I had limited funds. However, because of the option, I took, to go for it anyway, I have been able to grow the business to a multi-million dollar business. My company is WealthyHair .com and it was founded in 2007. Before Wealthyhair, I was working for a large commercial property company, located in Downtown Jacksonville Florida as one of their accountants. Originally I thought it was going to be a great career part for me since I graduated from the University of Florida with a Finance major but I found myself not happy due to the long hours of 70hrs a week. It turned out not to be the American dream I wanted. The COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallouts are devastating underserved communities and less developed countries worst of all. In these communities, young people face a lack of resources to learn online and violence in the home is at an all-time high. More than ever, youth mentoring programs are critical to making sure that boys and girls are safe at home. Join Kecchie's Project for a Virtual Conversation with Youth and Elders!
