The event is ...now built and ready for registrations, so we have opened registration in Fish Donkey! If you do not have a profile in Fish Donkey you will need to create one first before registering for events. If registering any youth anglers, you will need to set up a profile for them as well and must use a different email address (how the app tracks each angler) while the phone number can be the same. If you have any issues registering, drop us a PM or you can also contact FishDonkey direct for assistance. Here are the details of the event: *Dates: April 16 - May 30 *Main Event Payout plus Weekly Cash Award for the overall largest (by length) entered each week. *Event limited to the Hudson River waterway from the GW Bridge upstream. *Measurements will be rounded down to the nearest 1/2", mouth has to be closed when making measurement, with a 1/2" penalty if the mouth is open. *Alternate Measurement Protocol for entering fish without a bump board or for fish larger than your bump board. *All NYS fishing regulations must be followed including the new regulation regarding circle hooks and size regulations. *One time $25/angler entry. Example of Guaranteed Payout: (with 450 anglers) 1st Place = $2,375 2nd Place = $1,785 3rd Place = $890 4th Place = $595 5th Place = $295 Weekly Cash Award = $330/wk for all 6 weeks To help get this event off and running this year, we are asking for anglers to help share and spread word of this event. We are also looking for help acquiring sponsoring companies for the event. It would be great to have a few tackle shops local to the Hudson River fishery on board to help promote the event. We will be working on creating a flier that can be shared and posted soon. Sponsors will be included on the flier design for additional exposure but must confirm their sponsorship with us before the flier design is finalized in the next week or so.
