What an amazing night, an honor for Keira and our KeiraSTRONG Foundation. Keira deserves all the credit- the way she dealt with her cancer, taking it in stride and keeping that glowing smile! She inspires many! So honored to be a special part of the Kelly Cares foundation- looking forward to our future working together to raise cancer awareness, and continue to give back to organizations that provide support to those who need it most. March 9th, 2012- 4 years ago today is a day that changed our lives forever! Keira was diagnosed with Leukemia and we all went into survival mode. Heather and I remember it vividly- the news around 9:30am, doctors packing into a small room to explain what the next few years will hold for us!! The treatment plan, chemotherapy, mediport surgery- it was overwhelming, life changing, fear of the unknown, unsure of our future, emotions running through your body and mind- our little ...girl?? We choose to celebrate the day-Our family is wearing our KeiraSTRONG shirts, and we will have a family dinner tonight. We want to thank our ARMY for keeping us strong throughout this process. So many people stepped up. We can't thank you enough for how you helped us to stay strong and on course! I don't think we would be here without you all! It's been a blurry 4 years at times yet Heather and I do not forget the generosity! We are thankful to be almost 2 years off all medications (May 2016) and on our way! Keira is here to make an impact- she has already and more to come. She is a survivor! Strongest person I know! Please say a little prayer today- for those who continue their fight- a special one for Kaitlyn Peters, and the Peters family! Always...KeiraSTRONG!!! Jim and Heather Enright
