One year ago today was my first performance of KINKY BOOTS! Today I’ve got two performances of RENT in Honolulu, but I know very well that I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for this glittery, feel-good, spectacular show. Lots of love to my Kinky Fam!!! #raiseyouup #justbe #everybodysayyeah

Thank you, Holly Riddle of PSU for this wonderful interview! See you TOMORROW, State College! ‘No day but today,’ Sweigard said. That is a lyric that’s sung multiple times throughout the show, but it really is so poignant, because we don’t know how long we have on this earth, we don’t know how long our loved one’s have on this earth. There’s another lyric ‘give in to love or live in fear’ so when looking at the dichotomy of love versus fear, spend your time while we’re here loving one another, finding love, giving love and go live. ‘No day but today’ that’s what we hope audiences take away from the show.
More press: here’s a TV interview that ran on CBS in Boston, featuring myself and our fabulous Angel, Josh Tavares.
Thank you to D.C.’s Jason Fraley for this fun advance interview! 6 more performances of Rent On Tour at National Theatre Washington, D.C.
