Our Amherst Rotary Club donated 4000 to the st Luke’s Mission on Walden Ave Buffalo.if it wasn’t for this mission many adults and children would be homeless They have a school there with 35 students. One of their former students just started law school this year The attached picture is kids in the second grade there. You have to feel sorry for these kids. Their parents made mistakes in life. But it isn’t their fault What community service work are you involved in. Please let me know. Remember in life you can’t just take you have to give too.

Here’s a customer service story for you. A guy I know was the manager of a super market. A man came in and said my wife said this meat is no good I want to return it The manager looked at the piece of meat and saw it was from a competing super market. What would you do? What would your employees have done? Here’s what he said : Sir this meat is fromxxx. super market and its no good and threw it in a garbage can. I want to give you a piece of meat from our super mar...ket so you can see that our meat is better. Do you know what probably happened? That man probably bought more groceries in the store, told his wife and everybody else he saw that day how great that manager was to him. All because the manager gave the customer an $8.00 piece of meat. What do you do in your company that is so outstanding that people will tell their friends? Think about it. See more

Toastmasters Last Friday I did a presentation called marketing 102. Marketing 101 is getting the customers or clients. My Marketing 102 dealt with customer service. There are many doctors, hotel owners ,lawyers, restaurant owners , and business people who have very poor customer service because they haven’t trained their people properly:put your cell phones away, smile when you are talking to people and treat people the way you would like to be treated so your customers or clients will tell their friends how great your establishment is.

Student loans-what’s wrong with them? They are loans and you have to pay them back! If your child lives at home,goes to a Ny state public college and your income is low enough, you can graduate after 4 yrs and owe nothing. Go to an expensive private college and live in a dorm you could owe 200,000. Hey parents teach your kids that you can’t buy a brand new Cadillac if all you have money for is a 5 yr old Chevy. Slow down!!!! I barely was able to swerve to avoid a truck exiting the 290 onto Maple Rd. Too many people are in a hurry or talking or texting on their phones. If you are one of those people, a person Like you killed my father when he was crossing a street when I was 13. Your vehicle is a 2500 to 4500 lb weapon. It can kill people and also kill yourself.
