Today we held a virtual version of our annual Kagami Biraki New Year celebration; thank you to Nava Sensei and Parker Sensei for counting our traditional 1,000 suburi and to all our Ken-Zen family and friends who joined in!

Progress: Just before Halloween, GreenDuctors did scary good work cleaning our HVAC system! They installed a UV-C disinfecting light and we have invested in high-MERV rated filters and a True HEPA air purifier, all in preparation for a NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene inspection.

If you pass by Ken-Zen you may notice a few changes a hint of color, some minor facade repairs, and a new door sign to welcome everyone when we finally return!
