The seawall project is complete, except for some finishing touches that will be done in March. Many thanks to Rick Gordon for overseeing this project and keeping it on budget, and to Chad from R&R Docks for completing his work ahead of schedule!

New Law for Safe Boating There is a new law in effect as of January 1, 2020, and requires all operators of motorized boats and personal watercraft to take a safe boating course and get a boating safety certificate. Click below for complete details and FAQ’s related to this new law.

April 9, 2020 Dear KYC Members, As you may have heard, NY State issued updated guidance today that specifically references boat launches and marinas, ordering them closed to recreational vessels. Therefore, and effective immediately, we are once again shut down to all activity.... As mentioned in my message of April 4, your KYC Board is closely monitoring updates from NY State and will react to orders and guidelines swiftly and accordingly. The health and well-being of our members, staff and community drive these decisions and it remains critically important that we all continue to do our part. I’m hopeful the actions we take now will make a difference as we approach the summer season. As always, you're welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
