Take a moment for yourself... calm your mind, breathe...

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today thinking about the love, sweat and tears that have gone into the growth of my baby, KZP. Our peaceful, healing space wouldn't exist without each and every person who has been a part of our community along the way... My heart longs for the day we are able to open up and welcome you back.

Sending out ALL of the good vibes in hopes that we are approved to open this week! Our appointment based studio offers Individual Lessons to students who get to enjoy the luxury and confident safety of the entire 550 square feet to themselves. We eagerly await the opportunity to safely serve you.

You may have noticed that I stopped doing my IG and Facebook Live classes. As I sat with all of the turmoil in our world right now it became, for me, impossible to do anything but FEEL. I find myself weighed down in the heaviness of deeply FEELING the anger, the hurt and the fear surrounding the unknown. Not only my anger, hurt and fear, but that of the collective whole. Yes, I am human and I am fearful right now. Fearful that we have lost sight of, or more adequately stated,... have never, EVER, been in touch with our connectedness to all things, beings, colors, beliefs and races. I hold myself fully accountable. I love all people. I was taught to treat everyone with respect and dignity and to require that respect for myself. But that is NOT enough. My eyes are wide open now. I am fully awake, fully present and will not revert to absolutely any form of complacency. As much as I know that Pilates has it’s roots in connecting people to their center where everything is brought to the surface and felt profoundly, and that it is more necessary than ever right now I need to sit with all of this and digest a bit before sharing content that might come off as shallow and that doesn’t add depth and meaning to the conversation. My heart breaks for those suffering. Especially and most significantly for those of color who have suffered for far too long. Fuck this. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. #blacklivesmatter See more
