In honor of Genocide Awareness Month, join us for a special conversation with the authors of Voices from Srebrenica: Survivor Narratives of the Bosnian Genocide, who will discuss the practical and ethical challenges of working with heavily traumatized survivors; why it’s crucial to document their lives before, during, and after the war; as well as how and why the tragic lessons of the Holocaust remain relevant. Featuring @Hasan Hasanovi, head of research at the Srebrenica Me...morial Center and himself a genocide survivor, and Ann Petrila, professor of practice and coordinator of Global Initiatives at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work.
