I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe! I know this has been a difficult time, but I appreciate everyone helping to slow the spread. As you all know, I have been in the process of selling the daycare to Michelle Wilcox. We have both agreed that at this point, if possible, it is best to reopen the daycare under her new ownership. She is working with the State in finishing the process of receiving her license to operate. She is hoping to tentatively open within the next mo...nth or two, barring any further precautions due to the virus. I will be helping her with the scheduling and transitioning process. First and foremost, I pray that everyone has been staying safe and healthy! We have missed each and every one of you and look forward to when we can be together again! As I have stated from the beginning, I plan to reopen the daycare when the school is able to reopen. As you may be aware, the governor extended school closures until April 29, 2020. I therefore am also extending the closure of the daycare until at least April 29th. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may caus...e anyone. In the midst of all that’s going on, you can still look for the rainbows! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

I know these are unprecedented times and there is so much uncertainty going on. I will always make decisions that I believe are in the best interest of my children, staff and parents. I therefore have decided I will close the daycare starting on Wednesday March 18 for the same duration as the school is closed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone but I will always put the health and safety of everyone first. Please follow the necessary precautions to keep yourselves safe as well!

The Wayland Cohocton Schools are now closed starting today Monday March 16. The daycare will remain open at least for today and tomorrow as I had previously said. If you or an alternative caregiver are home due to work restriction, please keep your child home. I will update details as the day progresses. Thank you.

So I was just informed the school is closing Wednesday March 18. We will remain open as of now. This will give me time to contact proper health authorities on Monday to get their recommendations as to how we should proceed. Please inform everyone to check this page for further updates since this situation is constantly changing. Again, the health and safety of all is my main priority!

To my daycare families: IF the school needs to close down because of the Coronavirus, I will also close the daycare and seek the necessary recommendations from the Department of Health. Update The state FINALLY passed Grow A Child Too in a final inspection!! I am working very hard to re- open by September 1st With a full school age room ready to help the kids with their online instruction! Look for the new Grow A Child Too Facebook page with details

Is there any information on when the day care will be open? I haven’t heard anything.

I want to thank everyone for their patience, I'm trying to reopen as soon as I can, the state needs to reopen their office to finalize my license. Keep praying for this to happen soon!! I'll update as soon as I know. Thank you Michelle Wilcox
