Kids at Work

Welcome @musicianmiller to the Kids at Work family! Families can find Teacher Ian in our Toddle Around and Sun Sessions Outdoor Music programming this Spring and Summer. Ian Miller is a multi-faceted musician originally from St. Louis, MO. A graduate of @yale.music Yale University School of Music, Ian has worked on Broadway most recently as a rehearsal pianist for West Side Story. As an educator Ian has worked with young children as a part of the @storypirates team and at the @nightingalenyc Nightingale Bamford School on the UES. Ian speaks Spanish, French and Japanese (!!!) and does a mean Ram Sam Sam! Stop by and say hi to Teacher Ian next week in Washington Square Park on Thursday morning! Link to register in bio.

Waiting for friends to arrive at Kids at Work! At Toddle Around children move freely between sensory art and play stations before a fun, socially distances session full of storysongs, movement and individual instrument kits! This classroom is 1000 square feet and presently there are a max of 6 children. Join us this summer!

New Teacher Spotlight! Introducing our newest Toddle Around and Gentle Separation Music Teacher Melody! Melody holds a BFA in musical theater from Boston Conservatory and is currently working on her Masters degree in general psychology. In her free time, she writes songs and performs in her band, Sweetbreads. She has several years of early childhood education under her belt. Helping to foster a love of music in little ones is one of Melody's greatest joys. She's thrilled to be a new addition to the Kids at Work team and can't wait to jam out with your kids! New Teacher Spotlight! Introducing our newest Mess it Up Teacher Tamar! She is an artist herself, working mostly with clay as a potter. She spent time during college in Denmark studying Scandinavian Early Childcare and working in a Danish Preschool. Tamar is so excited to be part of the Kids at Work team!
