Dear Parents: YES, IT IS TIME. It is time to open up the office. Yeah at last, we will officially open up this coming Monday- 6/15 However there are few new rules in place to keep all of us safe:... 1. All sick visits will need to stay in the car and call the office. I will call you first and do the intake and you need to come though the side door at the right of the building (your right). There will be a sign- Kids’ Doc Sick Room Entrance there. 2. Well child visit will go directly to the exam room if not patient there. If there are patient there then you have to wait in the Well Physical Waiting Room (formally the Sick Room but we sanitized it for the Well Room) until call so that there will no physical contact between patients or the parents. 3. We had install UV light in our AC unit so it can sterilize all the virus in the return air. But we still require you to wear masks when you come in. It is OK if your young children unable to wear them. 4. Since telemedicine went so well, we will continue practice for minor issue. Most of the insurance cover the once a year well physical and you don’t have to pay any co-pay so take advantage of it. But please contact with your insurance first, some are need to be have 12 months interval between physical. If any question, contact Eileen. Don’t let your guard down during summer. I think outdoor activities will be safe with the UV light killing the virus but indoor still need to be caution. Good hand hygiene and social distancing should be practice if in a close environment. There will be a second wave in the fall and winter so be prepare during this summer. Stack up the essential and any needed vitamins supplement during the summer.
