I was shocked to read in the news, that all over the country, Asian Americans are supposedly being discriminated against and attacked after COVID. Particularly, because that has not happened to me at all. I seriously question the veracity and the alleged high frequency of these incidences portrayed in the news stories.

Every time I see a news story about COVID, the election, or literally any topic; the same day or shortly thereafter there is another news story that contradicts the prior story. This happens so often that it is difficult to determine what is factual and what is not anymore. On some topics outside my field, I have virtually no opinion because of this. This clip is a very short video by the BBC made by Charlie Brooker (creator of Black Mirror) discussing this phenomenon. He theorizes that contradictory media stories are created to intentionally create mass confusion, as a method of control or non linear warfare.

I am not surprised that international laws will not apply on an interplanetary level. It would be interesting to see what types of laws would be created when starting from scratch.

I first met Lorraine Diamond when she was a prosecutor and I was the defense attorney. I was representing a man who had a traffic offense. He told me that he recently lost his job and if he paid the fine, that he would would not be able to buy his daughter a prom dress and that she would be disappointed. Lorraine had overheard him speaking to me, and she crossed the fine off the plea agreement and said, "Sir, I will not give you a fine, please buy your daughter the dress!!" ...Continue reading

Lorraine Diamond is Marine Corp veteran running for Montgomery County District Attorney against the incumbent. She won the Republican primary against the incumbent and is the endorsed candidate, even though the incumbent is also a Republican. She has the endorsement of AFSCME, the State Police PBA, the Police Conference of New York, the Teamsters Local 294, and the New York State Fraternal Order of Police. ... Not only does she have support from the police, but I have personally spoke with defendants, victims, and defense attorneys, and all of them unequivocally support Lorraine Diamond because she is a hard worker who would create sensible policies that will keep the community safe while simultaneously safeguarding the constitutional rights of the accused. Local attorneys were the biggest donors to Lorraine Diamonds campaign! Please vote for Lorraine Diamond!

Google disclosed to federal agents, the IP addresses of anyone who searched for an arson victim’s address, which allowed investigators to pinpoint the alleged perpetrator and arrest him. I am curious whether these will be determined to be constitutional or not.
