Question: How did you come to focus on design for children? Answer: It was pure need. I was dumbfounded why contemporary furniture for children was made so poorly, with such little panache, and without great form. I wanted to change that, to bring beautiful, contemporary design to the family home, so that adults could live in considered environments with their children in every room of the house.
