Great weather has finally arrived and we are officially opened for the season! Looking forward to seeing you all before long!

Hello Lady Golfers! The Ladies League at KFGC is looking forward to playing golf this Spring and enjoying life more. The goal of this League is to play 9 holes of golf, with old and new friends, and simply enjoy the experience. All players are welcome at any level every Tuesday morning starting May 11th through August 4th at 10 a.m. Players come from all over the region including Ithaca and Rochester and Southern Cayuga. ... We have a real mix of golfers -- both new players and experienced -- but the beauty of the League is that you can have fun playing no matter your skill level. It is not a high stress outing for anyone. You don't have to sign up for the entire season -- but just let Linn Avery, the coordinator of the League, know if you are coming each week so she can set up foursomes. The group is very welcoming and if you are unsure -- come and give it a try. Bring a friend. We would love to have you join the League! Greetings! We hope you all had a good and healthy winter! We continue to get glimpses of warmer days ahead but we still have a stubborn spot of snow holding on! The warmer weather has been encouraging allowing us to start getting the equipment and golf course organized and ready for play. The weather is the determining factor and we will keep you posted via FB about when we will open. We are looking forward to sunny days ahead and seeing everyone out on the course before long!

Fall golfing at its best!

Congratulations to our New Hole-In-One Club Members!!! Alvin Howell of Groton had a hole-in-one on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Howell aced the 105-yard fourth hole with a gap wedge using a Maxfli golf ball from the white tees. This was his first hole-in-one and it was witnessed by Ed Ferraro. Justin Gentilcore of Aurora had a hole-in-one on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Gentilcore aced the 115-yard fourth hole with a 56 degree wedge using a Titleist Pro V1 from the blue tees. This was his first hole-in-one and it was witnessed by Trevor Austin.

An individual who was present at King Ferry Golf Club between August 12 and August 19th has tested positive for COVID-19. In accordance with the Cayuga County Health Department, anyone who was at the course on those dates should monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms for a 14-day period after the possible exposure. Since opening the course this spring, King Ferry Golf Club has placed the highest priority on following the recommendations regarding COVID-19 from federal, sta...te, and local directives to keep our community safe. Our facility and equipment is cleaned/disinfected thoroughly and continuously. If you have any questions, please call the golf course directly and we will respond to the best of our ability. Another big hitter in the King Ferry Golf Club's Ladies League! Tara R. bombed a long drive to just off the 7th green. From there, just a chip and a putt to the hole. Great drive Tara!
