Imagine Papa Hemingway, in his Havana home, standing in front of his Royal Quiet de Luxe (his preferred way of writing), banging away at the keys, creating the characters and stories beloved by so many. His Cuban house is now a museum, although his famous typewriter recently sold at an auction for nearly $3000! Channel the Hemingway in you! This beautiful machine is in perfect condition. All the keys work and there's even some "juice" left in the ribbon. Some wear on the case..., but mostly in great shape. Closes and opens easily. Top of case is detachable.
