My name is Mary Margaret Ripley. My husband Scott Ripley and I are the Directors of the LeRoy Farmers Market. By now, many of you have heard Scott suffered a s...erious heart attack on Tuesday. We would like to continue to bring this wonderful bright spot to our community but we need help to do it. We are asking for people to become board members of the market. Each board member will have a specific duty. Duties include: One person to handle social media One person to be a liaison to the village and work with Vendor Development One person to book weekly entertainment One person to book the community booth weekly One person to handle NYS Nutrition One person to organize weekly volunteers I will continue to work personally with the vendors and Scott will continue to be the face and voice of the market. If we do not get the help we need we will have to step away from our duties which will jeopardize the market's existence. We love the market, we love the vendors and we love our community but we cannot continue to give up 15 weeks of our lives without help. As we have experienced this week life is very precious.
