Hello, Mrs. Klinkhart! Your seat is reserved! We are delighted that the very first Take-A-Seat Campaign contribution is in honor of Louisa Kineman Klinkhart! Louisa, wife of George Klinkhart, died in the tragic fire at Klinkhart Hall on Tuesday July 11, 1911. Now, over 109 years later, Louisa's two great grand-daughters, Dickelle and Paula Fonda, think the perfect way to honor their great grandmother is for her to Take-A-Seat in the "new" Klinkhart Hall!... "We are thrilled to be able to honor Louisa Kineman Klinkhart, our great grandmother, who gave her life in that building trying to save that damn money box for her husband George!! But as you all know her spirit remains in the building as a friendly and benevolent "ghost" and I'm sure she is thrilled with the renovations and plans for its future." For many of us, 2020 has been the longest, darkest, and most trying year we can remember. But now it's time to allow ourselves a little hope. Here at Klinkhart Hall, we are both hopeful and thankful. Hopeful for a brighter new year, and thankful to be a part of a community that believes in us. So, from all of us to all of you, Happy Winter Solstice! And thank you for everything!
