Yom Ha'Shoah, the annual commemoration of the Holocaust and memorial service for the victims begins on the evening of April 7th. Because of Covid-19, this will virtual this year. You may light a memorial candle in memory of the six million Jews who perished, among them over 1.5 million children

This Shabbat is called Shabbat Shira (Shabbat of Song) because the Parsha of the week includes the song the Israelites sang after they crossed the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds) to celebrate their deliverance from bondage in Egypt. We haven't posted for a while but we have been busy. Suzanne has been leading Shabbat services Friday evening (7 PM) & Shabbat morning (10 AM) in our Zoom Room. Call the synagogue if you are not on the zoom list. We have some activities scheduled for December for remote Chanukah celebrations. We'll also be 'attending' a virtual museum tour entitled "The Life and Times of RBG" registration is required for this event (email will be sent first week of December) and we'll be fo...llowing this up in our December Women's Rosh Chodesh Study Group.
