Don’t forget this Saturday the Easter Bunny makes a visit to our Park.

Knickerbacker Park will host its first ever Easter Egg Hunt April 3rd, from 1-3 pm! We hope to see you there.

The Knickerbacker Park Board of Trustees is extremely excited to announce that we have approved the financing and construction of a brand new playground in the Park! It has always been our mission and the mission of the Knickerbacker Family to give the residents of Troy more ways to safely enjoy our Park. In this unique and trying time, outdoor spaces are especially important, and we wanted to place a special emphasis on children. Following our safe and successful 'Knick Pa...rk Trick or Treat Street' event last October, the Board turned its focus and energy to this project. After months of planning, we are finally ready to unveil the (almost) final design. We intend to break ground in the spring. #EnjoyTroy

A few people have separately messaged us about a recent video filmed in our Park showing a small group of teenagers engaging in boxing matches. The teens had a makeshift ring, gloves, mouthpieces, and even referees. While we are always happy to have young people in our Park playing sports and enjoying themselves, we would prefer teens box in one of the many local boxing gyms, with experienced trainers and staff. If you are aware of this video and recognize the teens, plea...se let them know. Not only would the teens be supporting a local business in a safe and controlled manner, but based on what we saw in that video, none of them had a clue how to throw a punch. (I'm looking at you, green hooded sweatshirt, and also you, dark champion t-shirt.) Have a safe holiday season, everyone.
