How special for the Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus Council #333 that the month that Fr. Michael McGivney is to be beatified, (October 31), we were named the Organization of the Year by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) for our works of charity and support of our Catholic School, Church and our community. For those who do not know, Father McGivney formed the Knights of Columbus March 29th 1882 as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics in the U.S. We continue that tradition today, working hard for the hard working folks of Ticonderoga, NY in an area where economic challenges are many. We Knights are thrilled that this has been recognized by the TACC. We are proud of our community and the work that we do for it. Come check us out!

The Knights of Columbus leading the way. Yesterday the Ticonderoga Knights hosted a blood drive in conjunction with the Red Cross. They have mastered social distancing in order to procure blood, which is needed now as much as ever. Covid doesn’t change the need for blood! A big thank you to Paul Jebb and Pam Arzberger for coordinating and hosting. Thank you also to everyone that donated!
