Sketchbook day. I decided to allow my creative juices start flowing without requirements or expectations. I think I’m finding out more and more that collage, it’s jut my thing. What makes you excited about creating art?

So much to do so much to discover. Inspired by the billboards in the F train station on 15th street. #insearchofhome

Each year I start new journals / sketch books and in order to really use them, I must decorate the cover. This cover is a memory. When Covid first hit we were living in Brooklyn ny in a small (I mean small when I say small) apartment with two adults, two adult children and one 13 pound crazy dog. That’s when we discovered @historicgreenwood for walking in the evenings to get away from people and crowds and that’s when I discovered that Green-wood was one of the most magical botanical gardens in the US. I walked so many hours there since May 2020, I nearly have the whole place burned in my memory. That’s when we discovered we needed more space for life to work for us now. memories
