The best compliment for me as an instructor is when I'm actually performing chest compressions, on a man in cardiac arrest, is for a medic I don't know say hey good compressions. I want to say they better be I'm a teacher but we were to busy achieving ROSC, great team work. Patient even during Corona was transported to a hospital with a chance!
Our organization made a tough decision to pause operations while the Covid Pandemic was disrupting the world. Stay tuned as we are gearing up for reopening soon. New 2020 protocols are reviewed and we can't wait to share them with you . Stay tuned for more information!!!
To all those nurses out there working as an essential employee... We thank you!
I've been holding off on this post for a bit as it is an emotional one. Many regional organizations have now made it a protocol/or strong suggestion that cardiac arrests no longer be transported, no resources for small to no chance of survival. Here is the facts folks EMS providers very rarely in the past transport cardiac patients that can't be reverse on scene. The only way now and in the future is for a reversal of a cardiac arrest to occur starts with you. Over 80% of Ca...rdiac Arrests happen at home so for someone to survive YOU need to be part of the chain link of survival. Learn CPR so you give your loved one a fighting chance and also give us as first responders a chance to Hug that special person as they walk out of the hospital! It all begins with you being prepared, a big word now a days, and this company has made a promise to the community and first responders to be there on day one when it's 100% safe. Any questions or concerns we are here! See more
Been a while and with the new AHA protocols coming out this month we have begun to receive inquiries about classes. With Covid still prevalent we are lookin for a co-op situation or a small space to rent per use. Anyone who knows us... know how passionate we are about health education. If you know of a spot please reach out to us. Thanks!
We do a lot of reading and research from many organizations providing guidelines on safe training. Once again, especially since most organizations are extending certifications, we have made the determination to remain closed for business until further notice. Right now there is no reason to learn CPR in a social environment regardless of distancing unless you are a first responder. Rest assured that as soon as WE, based on all data, are cleared to provide training will be not... only available but be available to the general public to learn hands only CPR prior to such events. These events will be scheduled through out community centers and are absolutely free. Not only will you learn CPR but basic skills. Skills such as putting a set of gloves and mask on, and the proper way to use these protective devices as well as disposal of these items. Any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to us as we are always here for you! See more
As an EMT who was part of this world during this horrible event. I will always appreciate the first responders who lost their lives either that day or days to come. These people ran towards danger while most ran away. God Bless this America!!
As an organization and a small business we made the decision to hold off on conducting classes prior to the quarantine as we listened to our partners. Our organization is well informed by the CDC, REMO, AHA, ASHI, ARC and The National Safety Council. We are not experts but know the level of concern around us. We urge people to go to reliable sources, don't believe the media hype, and just follow the precautions that have been provided. The more we abide by these precautions the sooner we will become a normal nation again.
So as Phase 3 begins Wed June 17th our company is making plans to reopen and begin training again. We know a lot of folks had their certifications extended and we do expect a rise in the number of students. We will schedule as many classes as it takes to get everyone recertified or those educated initially. Also look out for our Hand Only CPR in conjunction with area business's. Please read our intro so when it comes to selecting your training site be informed. There will be a lot of pop up inexperienced providers. Please reach out to us and let us know if you have interest and need of training.
As a professional organization we have been provided guidelines from the American Heart Association to help prevent any exposure to the Corona Virus. We have taken all necessary precautions. But our training center is making a conscious decision to take it a step further. Our training center is located at a senior center, great partner, and adjacent to a Rescue Squad. So for the time being we are suspending in house classes. We are still available to teach at your locations. We will keep you updated as new information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding.
Make a commitment this week that you will take 10 minutes of your time to learn hands on cpr and we will happily show you for free!
Unfortunately folks we have still made the conscious decision to not teach any classes until the time of the Governor's phase 3 opening. After that time we plan to do a few community events to educate the community on basic cpr/first aid principles so keep an eye out for them. Also we plan on conducting an abundance of classes to catch everyone up who has been on pause. Stay healthy and patient and know we will be here for you soon!
For your Stop the Bleed training give us a call.
