A little about Joe Kowalczyk: Joe offers 50+ years of funeral service experience. He is a graduate of Simmons School of Mortuary Science in Syracuse. Joe purcha...sed the Drejza Funeral Home on Lincoln Ave in Utica in 1962. A lifelong Utica resident, Joe is involved in the funeral planning process and is an integral part of the licensed funeral staff. We are confident that our experience and commitment to families helps them through the rough waters of grief and transitions them in to the next chapter.

During the month of October, you may notice a difference in the uniforms worn by members of the New York Mills Police Department. October is Breast Cancer Awar...eness Month and the members of NYMPD will be showing their support to increase awareness of the disease by sporting uniforms with pink patches. The patches were purchased by officers to be placed on their uniforms and the proceeds from the patches will be donated to breast cancer research. In 2020, it's estimated among women in the U.S. there will be 276,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer and 42,170 breast cancer deaths. Join us in wearing pink for the month of October to show your support! See more
