Before you take a look at these pics: I want to give a big THANK YOU to Gage's family for their trust in me. Their dog had every unfortunate problem that a bird dog can have. I nicknamed him "Timid Timmy", because his tail was always between his legs. From his fear of guns, birds, his own shadow, retrieving, etc........ But with a lot of work and a big commitment- what a transformation! He now earned his name Gage. I am very proud, enjoy the pics.
Thanks for the touch-up. It's always a pleasure.
Where it is Best to train dogs at a young age, old dogs can still learn new tricks.
The Landseer says: I got this, Brian. Watch!
I trained this wonderful St Bernard when she was a pup. Her owners do a very smart thing by having me "touch up" on training while they board her to go on vacation. We all need refreshers now and then and she sure still looks sharp. Thank You, The Dog Guy
I had the pleasure of working with this young Airedale Terrier. I don't see this breed too often and I enjoyed her enthusiasm. Obedience training at a young age will help her and her owner enjoy life with all its opportunities. The Dog Guy
I always have my eye on you. So, keep up the good work.
Just got done with another wonderful lab. Yes, it is. A blue lab. And he did wonderful. Even got some belly rubs, so it must be all good. The dog did well, but what really made this a success was the owners' transformation. Dogs can change, but the owners need to change along with them. That's how it all comes together. Keep up the good work! The Dog Guy
Another wonderful dog finished his training at Kripple Kreek. This one is a Bernese Mountain Dog, generally the breed is a good choice for family with kids. Just keep in mind: this is a big dog with a lot of hair. All family members are doing well. Keep up the good work and have a great summer! The Dog Guy
Hope everyone's summer is going well. Just wanted to put some pictures on of some dogs that I have been working with. Stay safe, The Dog Guy
Happy Holidays everyone and there pups. I hope that 2020 will be a great year for everyone. I thank everyone for all there kind words and awesome posts. Keep warm and safe. THE DOG GUY
THANK YOU everyone for participating and helping out at the 2019 Youth Hunt. Special Thanks to the Gun Club, helpers and volunteers, Bill Rose and his 2 dogs as well as Gus and Brian for letting me use their dogs for the hunt. And special Thanks to my Honey for taking and posting the pics. Be safe, happy hunting, The Dog Guy
There once was an owner whose final words when he dropped off his dog for obedience training were: "There. He's all yours. Good luck!" That same owner could not wait to get his dog back at the end of the course, because him and his dog had learned so much that now they truly enjoy their time together. Yet another life changer, credited to The Dog Guy.
