I am not seeing patients for the next two weeks in order to flatten the curve. I urge all of my patients to do their part to limit social interactions and avoid public spaces. We would all like to get back to work, the sooner we do our part, the sooner we can get back to life. I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves with fresh air, getting plenty of rest and eating well. In the mean time, I’ll be keeping my immune system robust with lots of moxa!

I’m not typically a big fan of electro acupuncture. I have my reasons, but when it’s necessary, I pull out the big guns. I have had some success treating this case of overactive bladder, but the situation is complicated. After a surgery to remove a tumor resulted in a complete hysterectomy, there is a lot of scar tissue and trauma which is now causing constant pain and discomfort. She’s getting better..slowly. Spring is full on in the Hudson Valley and I’m one lucky girls to get to bike out my front door to this amazing landscape. Unfortunately, for many of my patients this week has brought on seasonal allergies with a vengeance. I too used to suffer with #allergies pretty miserably every #spring. After about 25 #acupuncture treatments I really don’t experience the non-stop sneezing and itchy eyes that used to ruin my love of spring. Now the only environmental allergies I suffer ...from are when I’m visiting my family at @medicinecreekfarm. There is something about those 6 foot grasses that I just can’t tolerate. It’s a bummer because taking the quad into the pasture with my brother @jasonmisik is a highlight of my trip to MN. This season is the domain of the Liver and Gallbaldder.
