My website KULandscapes.com has been hacked but we are working on resolving the issue. The site is still accessable if you type in kulandscapes.com. Just don't google search unless you are in the black market for Viagra. Funny. Not funny. Please feel free to email me directly with any garden questions. Also, check out Instagram @kulandscapes for images and information on my work.

Look at this gorgeous lime green color tea. Can you guess? Purple aster tea. (Symphyotrichum nove-angliae and S. nove-belgiae). Dried leaves and flowers. Asters are excellent pollinators plants and, asters have health benefits for humans too helping with sinus congestion, clearing and relaxing to the head and lungs.... Did you know this? I did not - until I began the next step in my contuining plant education- studying with a local RN-Herbalist to find out the dizzying array of plant medicine gifts available to us humans.

Please take the time to watch David Attenborogh's film A Life on Our Planet . The first half is hard to sit through as the statistics mount (only 37% of our world remains wild), but the second half gives hope. To reset Climate Crises, we are waaaaaay past things like recycling. Activities that will help the plant: Rewilding. Stopping mass logging - and land clearing as in immediately stopping deforestation, cleaning up the ocean, restricting fishing in sensitive depleted area...s, lowering animal flesh consumption. And also yes - Rewenwable Energies. Currently our banks and our IRA's all invest in oil and gas and coal. This has to stop. Also, As much as I dislike Trump and his Anti-Environment Administration, Biden is not looking to be ANY more progressive. He has already tapped a former DuPont executive to head EPA. DuPont, Syngenta, Monsanto, Bayer are all huge petrochemical and herbicide/pesticie producers. Biden needs to do BETTER. Where are the Solar Executives in the Cabinet? Where are the botantists, ecologists, ecological gardeners? https://attenboroughfilm.com/ See more

Not the first snowfall of the season but flurries today and a walk/sit in the woods with yellow birch and hop hornbeam and silver maple. Here is a painting by Amanda Clarke to celebrate today's snowflurry.
