Molinaro to Host Live Telephone Town Hall on March 18 In-person Town Halls Cancelled, County Executive to Answer Residents’ Questions Poughkeepsie In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 emerging health situation and the need to increase social distancing to prevent the spread of the illness, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro announced his in-person State of the County Town Hall Forum series has been canceled and he will host a live, countywide Coronavirus Informational T...elephone Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, March 18th at 5:30pm. During the call, which will also be streamed live on the County’s Facebook page, County Executive Molinaro will provide a brief overview of the current Coronavirus situation in Dutchess County and will then answer questions from residents. County Executive Molinaro said, As we implore all residents to stay home whenever possible to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we are hosting this live Telephone Town Hall to keep our community connected during this rapidly evolving health situation. I encourage Dutchess County residents to call in this Wednesday, March 18th starting at 5:30pm, to hear updates on the current situation in Dutchess, learn about available resources, and ask questions. When the Telephone Town Hall meeting begins, an automated system will dial residents’ homes. If you receive a call at your house, you can simply join the Telephone Town Hall by staying on the line. Participants can choose to listen to the meeting, or you can ask questions. If you wish to ask a question, just follow the directions given. If you do not receive a call, or would like to dial into the Telephone Town Hall meeting from your cell phone or other location, call the toll-free number (845) 765-7121. The meeting will last until 7pm. Residents are encouraged to listen to the Telephone Town Hall meeting for the duration but can exit the meeting at any time by hanging up their telephone.
