Tonight, your Lake View Fire District Paramedics and EMT's assisted the Eden Emergency squad during an award ceremony. Eden Emergency Squad members were recognized for their life saving efforts when a member of their squad went into cardiac arrest. Quick action by bystanders, Eden Police and the Squad resulted in a full recovery by the patient. Congratulations to all those involved, it was an honor and privilege to celebrate with our brothers and sisters from the Town of Eden.

Thank you West Herr Collision Center South for taking excellent care of our command vehicle and getting us back in the road with little down time!

We would like to thank First Out Rescue Equipment for coming out tonight and teaching us about hybrid cars and new car technology. These guys brought a wealth of information to our members! Today we honor and remember Exempt Member Sally Kuebler. Sally touched the hearts of many people throughout her years of service. She was passionate and loved being part of the our fire dept. Sally may you rest in peace.

The Lake View Fire Dist is proud to announce that the residents of the district have elected Joseph Nero to a full five term as Commissioner and "Big" Mike Krull to a three year term. We are confident that Joe will continue to be a strong voice for both the residents and fire department members and Mike will bring a new perspective to the department as we move ahead during these challenging times. It's with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Active Life Member and Fire Commisioner John Wicka. John was the rock and staple of our fire department. May you rest in peace brother John. We will take it from here.

Its that time of year! Chief Jewett just got off of the phone with Santa's Secretary Elf.... Santa will be making his appearance through the hamlet of Lake View again this year! Due to COVID restrictions, Santa will remain on the truck at all times waving and greeting kids from afar. We will be escorting Santa around the hamlet on Dec 18th at 6:00pm! We ask that everyone stands on the same side of the street if possible! We will be running it like the Easter run but we will have two trucks running. One on each side of the district splitting it up....Again please be patient with us. We will do our best to hit every street possible. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season!

Todays the day! 31 year member Tim Pike is in need of a Kidney Transplant. Today is their largest fundraiser to help raise money to ensure Tim and his family have appropriate funds for when Tim gets his transplant.
