Thanks to everyone who takes the time to walk over to the recycle bin to discard redeemable containers instead of just throwing them in the trash. You are truly a conscientious and caring citizen. Full bags have been and will continue to be donated to the local Boy Scout troop and the TC SPCA. Additionally, Canners occasionally help themselves to augment finances. No problem with that. For those of you who opt for the convenience of the trash receptacles, please consider the consequences: more plastic, glass and aluminium ending up in landfills rather than being recycled; loss of donations to charitable organizations or others in need and willing to put forth the effort; unredeemed deposits end up in State coffers not local. The recycle bin is not really that far away.

I want to thank whomever is responsible for this remodeling job. What a pleasant surprise. Perhaps you should acquire some fundamental driving skills before you start hauling stuff around. I only hope that whatever caused this sustained equal damage.
