Two questions to answer before ANY recording project begins: 1. What are the goals? State them clearly, fully.... 2. Who is producing the recording? The producer will making decisions regarding the songs, players, process, direction, scope, mastering, and release of the project. They should be experienced in doing all those things. If those questions are not answered fully, up front, the recording project will not be as easy and enjoyable as it can be. It can actually turn into a messy confused chaos, or worse, a nightmare. Music should be an enjoyable experience. M.H.
