We look like garbage but we are together. I could not love my daughter any more. Charlie has given us all the ultimate gift of just plain and simple joy and happiness these past few weeks. She’s so stinking awesome and the most precious gift I’ve ever received. Thanks chips for making these scary days so fun and creative. We are too lucky...

Corona virus is making my family so uneasy

Happy 7th birthday to my beautiful spunky/bossy daughter. Everyone who knows me - knows that all of my dreams came true when Charlie completed our family. She came into this world smiling and chatting away and hasn’t stopped for even a moment ever since. Thus her nickname, Chippy! We love you Chips. Can’t wait to celebrate... All weekend long!!! You are as delicious today as the day you were born and could NOT be loved any more. It would be ‘impossible’!

As life has calmed down for our family since returning from California where Raphael underwent a craniotomy to remove 1 of many brain tumors he has, I’ve had time to reflect. I’m looking through photos through our 5 year journey since discovering Raphael’s diagnosis and pinching myself over how amazing Raphael is doing. People are constantly asking how they can help. What would give us the most hope would be to make a end of year donation to either of these charities - Both working so hard to cure NF-2. https://nf2biosolutions.org/ or https://www.ctf.org/. Every few years this photo crosses my path. My favorite photo I’ve ever taken. Raphael at age 2. This is the essence of Raph. The only kid ive ever known who can look at the beautiful bubbles in awe without trying to pop or pounce on them. He crushes my heart on the daily.
