She was predeceased by her fiancé’ Robert R. Pettit, 2008 and her mother, Thelma Farnsworth, 2012. Our Mom: The friendliest most caring woman you could meet who was unfortunately stricken at a young age with health problems. She was an extremely tough cookie who fought these battles on a daily basis and still found time to smile. She fought long and hard and right up to the very end she was ready to get up and fight again. PT was scheduled for the morning after her last arrival home from the hospital, but turns out God had a different plan. He saw how tired she was and let her rest, sparing her from feeling defeated. Mom always wanted to be able to take care of herself, to never be any kind of burden on anyone. She always had a warm smile and interesting conversation for anyone who visited her even on the bad days. Mom was the backbone for our family for many years, if you had a problem, she did everything to find a solution. She always made sure her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild felt loved and cared for even when she couldn’t care for herself. We are going to miss that big smile and joyful laugh so much. I’ll always hold our memories of coming home from work to get you your meds and talk about our day, then tuck you into bed for the night saying, I love you Momma close to my heart. We love you Mom, xoxo. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 -7:00 pm from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Private interment Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, NY.
