Excited to present new paintings and drawings by Bailey Scieszka at @mecaartfair opening on Thursday, 11/21. Bailey Scieszka’s works playfully capture the darker undercurrents of American culture in a mash-up symbology that fuses historical references with a modern twist. Highlighting our longstanding obsession with consumptive capitalism, Scieszka’s drawings and paintings point to the tangled web of money, power, and the more sinister elements of an Internet echo-chamber fraught with political diatribe and delusional conspiracy theories. @ San Juan, Puerto Rico

We will open 1:2:1 by photographer Daniel Arnold on Sunday, October 13th and the opening reception will run from 4-7pm. In 1:2:1, Arnold reminds us to pay attention to the oddities around us as subject lines are blurred through subtlety and seduction, fortuitously. 1:2:1 was curated by Emily Rosser, a dear friend of Arnold's and one of our own
